By downloading or using Where I Stayed, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Orakawa Limited grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Where I Stayed on any Apple-branded device you own or control, subject to these terms and Apple's Usage Rules. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Orakawa Limited.
You may not distribute, sublicense, or make the app available over a network where it could be used by multiple devices at the same time. You may not transfer or redistribute the app. If you sell your device to a third party, you must remove the app from the device before doing so.
You may not copy (except as permitted by this license), reverse-engineer, disassemble, decompile, attempt to derive the source code of, modify, or create derivative works of the app or any part thereof, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.
Where I Stayed is a personal travel log for iOS, published by Orakawa Limited. It lets you record places you have stayed — hotels, hostels, Airbnbs, transit nights, and more.
Where I Stayed is free to download and includes up to 15 stays, full map history, full stats, and CSV export at no cost. No time limit applies to the free tier.
Pro unlocks unlimited stays. It is available as an auto-renewing subscription:
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID account will be charged at confirmation of purchase and on each renewal. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
No refunds are offered for partial subscription periods, except where required by applicable law.
You own the data you enter into Where I Stayed. We do not access it. You can export it at any time from Settings → Export Stay History. Deleting the app removes your local data; iCloud copies can be removed from iCloud settings.
You agree that Orakawa Limited may collect and use technical data and related information — including technical information about your device, system and application software, and peripherals — gathered periodically to facilitate the provision of software updates, product support, and other services related to the app. This information is used only in a form that does not personally identify you. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
The app uses third-party services including Apple iCloud (sync), RevenueCat (subscription management), and PostHog (anonymous analytics). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms. Orakawa Limited is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of any third-party service, and is not liable for any damages arising from your use of them.
You may use Where I Stayed for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not use the app to harass, abuse, stalk, or threaten any person or entity.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WHERE I STAYED AND ANY SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE APP ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. ORAKAWA LIMITED HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS WITH RESPECT TO THE APP, EITHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. NO ORAL OR WRITTEN INFORMATION OR ADVICE GIVEN BY ORAKAWA LIMITED SHALL CREATE A WARRANTY. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
TO THE EXTENT NOT PROHIBITED BY LAW, ORAKAWA LIMITED SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY, OR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR ANY OTHER COMMERCIAL DAMAGES OR LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, HOWEVER CAUSED, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY, AND EVEN IF ORAKAWA LIMITED HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL ORAKAWA LIMITED'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL DAMAGES EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO ORAKAWA LIMITED FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR FIFTY US DOLLARS (USD $50), WHICHEVER IS GREATER. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR PERSONAL INJURY OR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THIS LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
You may not use or export the app except as authorised by the laws of Hong Kong and the laws of the jurisdiction in which you obtained the app. In particular, the app may not be exported or re-exported into any country subject to a Hong Kong or United Nations trade embargo, or to anyone on a government-restricted persons or entities list. By using the app, you represent that you are not located in any such country or on any such list.
These terms are effective until terminated. Your rights under these terms will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of their provisions. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the app. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including warranty disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law) shall continue to apply.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, excluding its conflict of law provisions. If you are a resident of a European Union member state, Switzerland, Norway, or Iceland, the governing law and forum shall be the laws and courts of your usual place of residence.
